Former Florida baseball standout Jac Caglianone is off to a blazing start to the second year of his professional career with the Double-A Northwest Arkansas Naturals, a member of the Kansas City Royals' minor league system.
Originally drafted by the Royals in 2024, Cags spent his first year of pro ball at High-A with the Quad Cities River Bandits, where he put up solid numbers despite being 1.3 years younger than the average player at that level. He more or less replicated those numbers in the 2024 Arizona Fall League with the Surprise Saguaros.
