Former Arizona Cardinals linebacker Victor Dimukeje was getting an opportunity to prove himself with a new team. Now he is injured.
According to ESPN's Jordan Raanan, Dimukeje suffered a torn pectoral muscle during the Giants' offseason program and will miss some time.
This is a setback for Dimukeje, who signed a one-year, $1.2 million contract with the Giants after four seasons with the Cardinals. On a new team, he will not be able to participate in on-field work for OTAs and minicamp. We will ee whether he is ready for training camp at the end of July.
