Sometimes in the middle of the season when a big name takes the win, it’s surprising that they hadn’t won to that point yet during the year. Such was the case for five different racers across five different racing divisions last weekend.
Kevin Harvick entered Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350 in fourth place in the points with five top-5 finishes already to his name in 2017. However, the California native had not taken a win since the 2016 Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway in October last year. Harvick finally made it back there on Sunday though, winning by 8.
