Fire-Minnesota United Preview

Chicago Fire are determined to keep holding up their end of the bargain by beating Minnesota United on Wednesday after favourable weekend results.

The Fire drew 1-1 with Nashville on Saturday and that was enough to ensure they hold a playoff place in 10th as things stand.

Montreal Impact, Inter Miami and DC United all crucially lost, meanwhile, but Chicago coach Raphael Wicky is keen to ensure his team are not relying on favors elsewhere - particularly given the volatile nature of points-per-game.

"We're going to make our points. That's more important [than other results]," Wicky said.
