The Atlanta Falcons have been fined $250,000 and defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich has been fined $100,000 for their role in the viral Shedeur Sanders prank call that happened during the 2025 NFL draft. Ulbrich's son reportedly stole Sanders' number off his father's iPad and used it to impersonate an NFL general manager.
The Falcons addressed the matter on Sunday and said they would not discipline Ulbrich, who was hired by the team over the offseason to replace Jimmy Lake as the defensive coordinator. However, the NFL looked into the matter and decided the Falcons needed to be punished.
