The NBA is poised for a monumental undertaking: restarting the 2019-2020 season inside Disney World amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Shockingly, this idea could work. Ten days before games are set to begin on July 30, the NBA announced there were zero positive COVID-19 tests in the so-called “bubble” and it looks like the season will continue without a hitch.
The bubble itself sits inside Disney World’s massive 40-square-mile campus in Orlando, Florida. Teams will play all of their games at three venues at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in the southern area of the park but live at three hotels at various locations throughout Disney World.
