The 1996 incident involving Peyton Manning and former Tennessee trainer Jamie Naughright has been the subject of much public scrutiny since a New York Daily News columnist resurfaced the trainer's allegations from a 2003 defamtion lawsuit.The legal documents from the 2003 suit largely paint a he-said, she-said situation.
But a new eyewitness has come forward to detail what he saw between Manning and the trainer on Feb. 29, 1996.
Greg Johnson, a former Tennessee linebacker and Manning's old roommate, told Robert Klemko of The MMQB he would not provide an opinion of either Manning or Naughright but said that he was in the training room on the day in question when Manning allegedly mooned cross-country athlete Malcolm Saxon.
