It's a sad day in the ACC, as the family of Bill Dooley confirmed Tuesday that the longtime coach has passed away at the age of 82 from natural causes.
Dooley, who is the brother of former Georgia coach Vince Dooley, was a college head coach for 36 years at North Carolina, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.
"Coach Bill Dooley passed away this morning," a statement from his family read.
