There are a lot of interesting storylines to follow as we head through the offseason and into the 2025 college football season for the Oregon Ducks, but none may be more intriguing than the expected breakout for true freshman wide receiver Dakorien Moore.
As the No. 1 overall WR in the 2025 class, Moore came to Eugene as one of the highest-rated recruits in program history. While true freshmen have not typically had significant roles on Dan Lanning's teams, Moore could be an exception to that trend. We saw in the spring game last month that he could have a prominent role in the offense as one of the starting wide receivers and lead target-getters for either Dante Moore or Austin Novosad.
