Enes Kanter says he's received death threats after failed Turkish coup

Following the failed political coup by a sub-sect of the Turkish military this week, Oklahoma City Thunder center Enes Kanter posted on Twitter that he's been receiving death threats. Kanter, 24, has been critical in the past of the regime of Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdou011fan, and was excluded from the 2014 Turkish national team for what Kanter said were political reasons.

Kanter began posting screenshots of the death threats along with other political allusions comparing the current situation in his native country to that of Adolph Hitler's rise to power in the 1930s.
