Earlier this year, the New York Giants announced they were exploring a sale for a limited ownership stake in the team. The organization retained Moelis & Company to help facilitate the arrangement, and shortly after the announcement, former Giants quarterback Eli Manning said he was interested in having an ownership stake in an NFL team.
His one stipulation? He only wanted a stake in the Giants.
Well, now it seems that Manning is serious about bidding on the Giants' ownership stake. A Bloomberg article indicates that Manning is forming an investment group for the purpose of bidding on the stake.
