Jamaica's Elaine Thompson-Herah successfully defended her gold medal in the women's 200 meters in a stunning 21.53, making her the second-fastest woman in history for the event. She is also the first woman in history to win back-to-back Olympic gold medals in the 100 meters and 200 meters.
