When Andy Reid took over as the Kansas City Chiefs' head coach in 2013, he didn't keep Nick Sirianni—who had been the receivers coach in Kansas City under Romeo Crennel in 2012—on his staff.
But the now-Philadelphia Eagles head coach told Peter King of NBC Sports that he nonetheless has a "ton of respect" for Reid.
Sirianni continued:
"Even though he didn't hire me. Hey, it worked out pretty well. God always has plans. As mad as you might be—mad or upset or as crushed as you might be—I mean, think about the path it really led me on.
