The Atlanta Falcons weren't the only ones looking to trade up in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Philadelphia Eagles were also interested in moving from No. 32 pick, but they couldn't get to the Los Angles Rams' No. 26 pick before Atlanta did.
Eagles general manager Howie Roseman was a bit surprised when he saw the Falcons move a 2026 first-rounder to get back into the first round, and joked that he "understand(s) why people aren't taking our deals."
The Eagles eventually traded up to No. 31 to take Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell.
