Dustin Johnson continued his fantastic play at East Lake on Friday with a 3-under 67 to move to 7 under and take a one-shot lead heading into the weekend over Kevin Chappell.
Johnson continues to putt well, ranking sixth this week in strokes gained putting through two rounds, which combined with his fantastic driving is making a difficult East Lake course look pretty routine. Johnson made five birdies and two bogeys on Friday to move into the lead alone.
While Chappell is one stroke behind Johnson, the world's No. 2 player is pulling away from the rest of the field.
