Drivers in 40-car Dover field must contend with monster: Jimmie Johnson

There's a monster lurkingh this week at Dover, and Sprint Cup drivers know all too well how hard it will be to stop the beast.

We're not talking about Miles the Monster, the track's ominous mascot. We're talking about the driver who won three of the past five races at the one-mile track.

Jimmie Johnson.

Forty cars arrived at Dover for this week's AAA 400 Drive for Autism. The 48 car will be the one every team watches.

Why? Because Johnson has won 10 times at Dover, beginning with the spring race in 2002. In fact, he won the fall Dover race that year too, setting the tone for more than a decade of success.
