Drew Stanton Agrees to 2-Year Contract with Browns After 5 Years with Cardinals

The Cleveland Browns have added more depth at quarterback with the addition of veteran Drew Stanton on a two-year deal, per his agent Mike McCartney.

Stanton has spent the past five years with the Arizona Cardinals, making 13 total starts in that stretch. He went 3-1 as a starter in 2017 and is 11-6 in 17 career starts.

The 33-year-old posted a 66.4 quarterback rating last season, totaling 894 yards with six touchdowns and five interceptions.

While he isn't likely to be the answer to the Browns' issues at quarterback, he represents another veteran presence in the quarterback room heading into next season.
