Doc Rivers has every right to be concerned about the upcoming season, just look at the NFL's COVID failures

Doc Rivers is concerned, and he has every right to be.

On Tuesday, the new Philadelphia 76ers head coach was chatting with reporters when ESPN’s Cassidy Hubbarth asked Rivers about the NBA not starting its season in a bubble, as it did for the final games of the 2019-20 regular season and postseason.

“I’m very concerned if we can pull this off,” Rivers said, noting the numerous college football games that have been postponed or canceled. Plus, Wednesday’s Steelers-Ravens game that had been pushed back three times because of a significant COVID-19 outbreak in Baltimore (and a smaller one in Pittsburgh) before finally kicking off.
