As the April 26th deadline to declare for the 2015 NBA draft draws near, more and more players are announcing their intentions to declare for the 2015 NBA draft.
But not as many as you would expect.
The reasoning behind this is because the NCAA's deadline to withdraw from the NBA draft, while still retaining college eligibility, is frustratingly early. Set as the day before the National Letter of Intent date in mid-April, it forces college prospects to decide on the wisdom of staying in the draft long before they have the chance to gather enough information to make an informed decision.
