Deflategate returns: Everything to know about NFL's upcoming appeal

The last bit of hot air remaining from the NFL's legal battle against New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is expected to be exhausted, mercifully, over the next few weeks and months beginning Thursday afternoon inside a New York City courtroom.

That's when a panel of judges will hear oral arguments in the league's appeal of Brady's greatest triumph of 2015 — Deflategate.
