Deflategate game ball sells for absurd price at auction

A ball that may or may not have been properly inflated in the AFC Championship game in January was auctioned for $43,740. According to Lelands, which handled the auction, the ball was used on a touchdown play in the third quarter and taken into the endzone by LeGarrette Blount. There were a total of five bids placed on the ball, with a reserve price of $25,000.
