'Deflategate' football fetches $43,740 at auction

Los Angeles (AFP) - A ball from the game that produced the "Deflategate" scandal that has seen Patriots quarterback Tom Brady suspended for four games sold at auction on Saturday for $43,740.

Auction house Lelands.com sold the ball from the American Football Conference championship game -- in which the Patriots beat the Indianapolis Colts to book a Super Bowl berth.
