SONOMA, Calif. — Dale Earnhardt Jr. was not happy after the Toyota/Save Mart 350, but it wasn’t because Carl Edwards hit him on the track.
Earnhardt was ticked off at NASCAR for what he believed was a questionable caution flag with 22 laps to go.

“Sitting in fourth with (22) to go and a piece of rubber, spring rubber or some sh-- on the track, a dishrag or something,” Earnhardt said.
Earnhardt was racing his way back toward the top five when another caution flag flew on Lap 93 for Michael McDowell’s stalled car.
