John Wes Townley continues to undergo treatment for a possible concussion and will miss this week’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Eldora Speedway.
Townley joins Dale Earnhardt Jr. as drivers recovering from concussions after crashes on the track. Earnhardt is expected to miss this week’s Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway after suffering a concussion in crashes at Michigan and Daytona.

Jeff Gordon is expected to fill in for Earnhardt at Indy. Earnhardt was replaced by Alex Bowman in Sunday’s race at New Hampshire.
