When making picks for daily fantasy baseball and season-long leagues, some things are too obvious. You don't need us to tell you to play stars, nor do you need us to recommend a good lefthanded hitter against an average righthanded pitcher. It's also not exactly groundbreaking advice for us to recommend keeping mediocre hitters out of your lineup against aces.
Instead, we try to find the stat splits or players who might be under the radar. Sure, we'll venture into "obvious" territory from time to time, but that's merely to point out that these prohibitively expensive players are worth their high price tags in FanDuel or DraftKings contests.
