None other than former MLB pitcher Curt Schilling, who was fired by ESPN last Wednesday for slamming North Carolina's transgender laws.

Republican presidential contender Ted Cruz and conservative media outlets have taken up Schilling's firing as a cause celebre.

To them the dismissal of the 49-year old Schilling, an outspoken political conservative, is proof ESPN has a liberal bias. And that brass in Bristol have a blatant double standard when it comes to liberal and conservative voices at the network.
