Congressman sends dumb Colin Kaepernick tweet following bombing suspect arrest

Police arrested a man Monday in connection with this weekend's bombings in Manhattan and New Jersey.

So naturally, Lee Zeldin (R-NY), whose district includes part of the New York City metro area, decided Colin Kaepernick should say thanks.

Kaepernick, of course, has been sitting or kneeling during the national anthem before 49ers games to protest what he calls oppression of people of color and police brutality.
