Sport Bild (via @bayer04Xtra) reports that in the event that Florian Wirtz does leave Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, the club are already looking at where they could invest the money.
The goal at the BayArena is to bring in players who are young enough that there is still room to develop, but they are also good enough to compete in the Champions League.
Leverkusen will obviously look to replace Wirtz. When it comes to his potential successors, Como’s Nico Paz, Arda Güler of Real Madrid, and Manchester City forward James McAtee are all of interest.
