The Washington Commanders are coming off a Cinderella season in 2024, hoping to replicate that success in 2025. After winning just three games in 2023, rookie superstar Jayden Daniels led his team to the NFC Championship for the first time in over three decades. It was unexpected on all fronts, but Dan Quinn and Adam Peters found just the right mix of players to be successful in 2024.
That success means that the Commanders have earned some respect from the league, which is evidenced by the five primetime games they will play in 2025. One of those games, the Week 2 Thursday night meeting at Green Bay, has been named the second-most compelling Thursday night game of the season by CBS Sports.
