The Washington Commanders front office is busy with the 2025 NFL draft, currently taking place in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The players reported for offseason workouts this week, but they took a break on Wednesday to root for their favorite hockey team: the Washington Capitals.
The Capitals are currently in the first round of the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs and lead the Montreal Canadiens two games to none. Earlier this month, Caps' star Alex Ovechkin scored his 895th career goal, which broke Wayne Gretzky's record.
Sporting their Ovechkin jerseys, Commanders rookie quarterback Sam Hartman and starting quarterback Jayden Daniels can be seen cheering on the Caps.
