Although the news of Jonathan Taylor's trade request from the Indianapolis Colts broke Saturday night, things have been going south in that relationship for a lot longer.
Apparently, the All-Pro running back actually made the request a few days prior to his meeting with team owner Jim Irsay at training camp Saturday, according to ESPN's Stephen Holder.
Taylor has been searching for a contract extension going into the final season of his rookie deal but Irsay and the organization have not made him any sort of offer yet.
