Colt Knost tied the course record Friday at The Players Championship by firing a 9-under 63 in the second round at TPC Sawgrass.
The round was great, but Knost might feel disappointed after having a chance to break the record outright. He entered the 18th hole at 10 under and hit the green in two, needing two putts to shoot 62. He left his first putt five feet short, then he missed the second putt.
"I was nervous on the tee shot (on 18) because I hit it in the water yesterday and took double," Knost said on Golf Channel after his second round.
