Penn State continues to generate lots of buzz as a national championship contender throughout the offseason.
On Monday, FOX's Joel Klatt ranked the Nittany Lions as the No. 1 team in the country following the conclusion of spring practices. Last year, Klatt ranked Ohio State as the No. 1 team in his post-spring top 25, and the Buckeyes lived up to expectations by bringing home a championship in the first year of the 12-team College Football Playoff.
Klatt had Penn State ranked No. 9 last season, but those expectations were exceeded.
