The New England Patriots have arguably already won the offseason with a slate of moves in free agency that makes the defending Super Bowl champions even more formidable - but on Wednesday, Bill Belichick made another move that flew slightly under the radar.
The Patriots signed veteran receiver Andrew Hawkins, who was released by the Browns in February. Hawkins said on Twitter that he "passed up on deals that were double the compensation" in order to join a contender. Hawkins had 33 catches for 324 yards last year with the Browns.
Colin Cowherd reacted to the move on Thursday's episode of The Herd, and said this was simply business as usualy for Bill Belichick.
