College football's annual game of coaching musical chairs appears to be winding down with Cincinnati, Houston and now USF as the prime destinations remaining.

Cincinnati
The situation: The search to replace Tommy Tuberville is down to "two or three serious candidates," according to unidentified sources cited by the Cincinnati Enquirer.
The leading candidates: Jeff Brohm, P.J. Fleck and Charlie Strong were Cincinnati's top three targets, according to the Enquirer, but Brohm since has moved from Western Kentucky to Purdue.
