Brian Rush has resigned as Clarksville girls basketball coach after 20 seasons.
Assistant coach Ellie Treanton, who played under Rush from 2014-18, will replace Rush as the Wildcats' coach. Rush, who also coaches the Clarksville softball team, will remain in that role.
"CHS is pleased to announce Ellie Treanton as the new Head Coach of the Girls Basketball program," Clarksville athletic director Shannon Cummings said in a release. "We are excited to welcome her leadership and look forward to the future of Lady Wildcats basketball under her direction.
"We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Coach Rush for his 20 years of dedicated service as Head Coach of the Girls Basketball program.
