Everything in Knoxville felt familiar to Christian Moore until he scootered up to the ballpark.
The Tennessee baseball great wasn’t at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. He was Covenant Health Ballpark in downtown Knoxville, a new setting in a known place for Moore.
"I am not used to being at a baseball field in Knoxville and lost,” Moore said. “But it is awesome. This is what it is about. Knoxville loves baseball.”
Moore is back in Knoxville to play six games against the Knoxville Smokies for the Rocket City Trash Pandas, the Double-A team for the Los Angeles Angels.
