Christian Eriksen officially returned to the pitch for Denmark on Saturday for the first time since his terrifying collapse last year, and he didn’t waste any time.
Eriksen entered the friendly against the Netherlands at halftime in Amsterdam on Saturday night, and scored just two minutes later.
The Netherlands won the match 4-2.
Eriksen collapsed during Denmark’s Euro 2020 match against Finland in June due to cardiac arrest. The match was suspended and Eriksen was taken to a local hospital, where he underwent a procedure and now has a heart starter.
