Chris Boswell to Sign with Steelers: Latest Contract Details, Comments, Reaction

Following an overtime loss against Baltimore in which Josh Scobee missed two field goals in the fourth quarter, the Pittsburgh Steelers will reportedly sign kicker Chris Boswell.

ESPN's Adam Caplan reported Boswell's agreement with the Steelers, noting the 24-year-old worked out for the team on Saturday. NFL Network's James Palmer confirmed the deal.

Boswell has spent time with the Houston Texans and New York Giants, working on the practice squad for both teams without ever getting into a game.

During Boswell's most recent workout with the Texans at the end of September, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle raved about the work done by the former Rice star:

Chris Boswell did a terrific job with Texans but they kept Randy Bullock.
