The attorney representing Rashee Rice issued a statement regarding the crash involving a car registered to the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver.
"On behalf of Rashee Rice, his thoughts are with everyone impacted by the automobile on Saturday," attorney Royce West said, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. "Rashee is cooperating with local authorities and will take all necessary steps to address this situation responsibly."
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk noted one of the cars involved in a multi-car crash on Saturday was registered to Rice and believed to be racing another car. Those who were in that car reportedly fled the scene.
