Chiefs made key front office promotions ahead of OTAs

On Saturday, May 24, the Kansas City Chiefs made a series of promotions in their front office that could reshape how the team's administration functions behind the scenes.

According to Senior NFL Reporter Albert Breer of The MMQB, Kansas City has promoted Mike Bradaway and Chris Shea to assistant general manager roles, elevated Ryne Nutt and Tim Terry to VP of player personnel roles, and designated Marc Richards as the Chiefs' director of football research and development.

Additionally, Kansas City hired Dru Grigson to be its Senior College/Pro Football executive.

Take a look at Breer's full report below, which was posted to Twitter:

Though these moves might directly affect the Chiefs' gameday performance in the same way as offseason player signings, Kansas City's front office has developed an excellent reputation in recent years, and the promotions announced on Saturday could have major implications for future NFL hiring cycles.
