Chicago Bears reportedly sign cornerback Kyler Gordon to a 3-year, $40 million contract extension

The Chicago Bears appear to have locked up one of their defensive centerpieces.

The Bears have reportedly signed cornerback Kyler Gordon to a three-year, $40 million contract extension, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The deal is said to include $31.25 million in guaranteed money.

Gordon, 25, was entering the final year of his rookie contract in 2025. With the new deal, he will remain under team control through the 2028 season. The new contract will make him the NFL’s highest-paid nickel cornerback.

Gordon was the first draft selection that Bears general manager Ryan Poles made after taking over as GM in 2022.
