Chargers expecting breakout season from second-year player

The band is back together after the Chargers re-signed linebacker Denzel Perryman this offseason.

Perryman appeared in 11 games and was an integral part of the run defense before a groin injury sidelined him for the remainder of the 2024 regular season. He also suffered an elbow injury in the wild card game against the Texans.

Perryman told reporters earlier this week that he is full healthy and ready to go for the summer. His veteran presence will be imperative in a young linebacker room that includes second-year Junior Colson, who Perryman is expecting good things out of this upcoming season.
