Alan Ruschel is making a strong recovery after surviving last week's plane crash in Colombia, that killed 71 people.
The 27-year-old is one of six survivors and one of the only three players from a professional Brazilian soccer team, who made it out of the crash alive.
The defender appeared in a video Wednesday walking and giving thanks for the outpouring of support that has helped his recovery.
In the video, Ruschel says: "Hello, people from Brazil and the whole world connected in my recovery, I'm Alan Ruschel. I wanted to tell you that I'm recovering very well.
