Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti has backed American forward Julian Green for success at his new club, Stuttgart.
Green left Bayern Munich during this January transfer window, sighting more playing time with the second-tier Bundesliga squad. Green signed a contract with Stuttgart through 2019.
"The problem for Julian Green with us was that he didn't play a lot of games because he had some strong competition up front," Ancelotti said, via ESPN FC. "But I think from the very beginning right up until Christmas he improved a lot.
