Los Angeles (AFP) - Arizona Cardinals rookie receiver Damond Powell's NFL ambitions were in limbo Saturday after he was shot outside his home in Toledo, Ohio.

Powell was shot in the face on Friday night, suffering injuries that police said did not appear to be life-threatening.
