Cardinals QB Kyler Murray done for season with torn ACL

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is done for the season after he sustained a torn ACL during the first half of a Monday night loss to the New England Patriots, head coach Kliff Kingsbury confirmed Tuesday.

Murray went down with a non-contact injury on the first drive of the game. He tried to scramble on the third play from scrimmage, ran to his right, planted and fell to the turf. He stayed down as athletic trainers came out.

The Cardinals announced that Murray had sustained a knee injury, and at the start of the second quarter he was ruled out of the game.
