University of Alabama wide receiver Calvin Ridley is officially heading to the NFL draft.
Ridley confirmed the news after Matt Zenitz of AL.com cited sources who said Ridley would forgo his senior season with the Crimson Tide to enter the 2018 NFL draft:
Ridley became a key weapon for the Tide offense the moment he stepped on the Tuscaloosa campus. The wideout caught 89 passes for 1,045 yards and seven touchdowns during his freshman campaign in 2015 to help Bama win a national championship.
The 23-year-old Florida native added 72 catches for 769 yards and seven scores as a sophomore and 63 grabs for 967 yards and five TDs this season on the way to a national title.
