Caitlin Clark will be sidelined for at least two weeks, the Indiana Fever announced.
The WNBA team issued a statement on Monday, May 26 that said Clark, 23, suffered a left quadriceps strain in the Fever's 90-88 loss to the New York Liberty on Saturday, May 24.
The Fever said Clark will "be out a minimum of two weeks" as she begins recovery. "Further updates will be provided, as available, following re-evaluation," the team added.
Fever fans were devastated by the news and surprised that the injury will sideline Clark as she left the game seemingly fine on Saturday.
