Bryce Petty, Jets trick Rams with nifty hook and lateral TD

The Jets wanted an offensive spark with Bryce Petty, and they got just that early against the Rams on Sunday. Petty, starting for banged-up Ryan Fitzpatrick, capped a 99-yard TD drive early in the second-quarter with a perfectly executed "hook and lateral."

Petty.
To Marshall.
To Powell.
To the END ZONE. @NYJets get tricky. And it WORKED. #JetUp #LAvsNYJ https://t.co/THmZrom3Ze — NFL (@NFL) November 13, 2016

The second-year quarterback threw the ball out to the left side to wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who dropped it back to running back Bilal Powell for a 4-yard score.
